Consistency?

Still with it; two consecutive days. Hot damn.

Stuck to the apple-salad-sensible dinner plan again. Out of salad, though, so tomorrow will be a challenge of being creative without stumbling.

Tomorrow also is a planned "day off" - first day with kids makes it not the best to force the issue on exercizing, and planning likely dining out with Pammie to celebrate or mourn (as the case may be) the opening day of school.

Weigh in: 341 lbs. again, I think (darned if it doesn't read a ten pound range depending on which foot I have more weight on - the result is I'm not all that certain if I'm centered right).

Another fresh start.

New restart. After yet another sequence of very busy periods brought me away from attention to health, and another subsequent reminder from my body (the usual forms, such as making me have to visit the bathroom several times each night) as well as illustrative frustrating limitations due to my size (recent Labor Day trip to Hershey Park featured several times I had to skip a ride, or couldn't enjoy it to the fullest, because of my size), I'm renewing my efforts.

Now seemed like a great time to try, since I did pretty well managing my diet on the trip and got tons of exercize during daily hikes around Hershey Park and D.C., which has placed me in that temporarily motivated and muscles-awake-enough-to-cooperate state.

Today, I've had a salad and an apple, as well as water and tea (I plan a reasonable dinner and a moderate treat snack). I also just got back from a brisk round-trip walk to the Shop City Blockbuster to trade a mailer for a new DVD; weather permitting, I plan to walk again tomorrow to return that DVD.

Who knows if the renewed effort will last a day, a week, a month, etc. But, nonetheless, better to try than to dwell on past failures, right?

Weigh-in today: 341 lbs (taken after walk).
